Modular ERP for B2B fashion

Enterprise business system for the fashion and apparel industry — orders on size × colour matrices, master data, multi-tenancy and metadata-driven UI.

  • #Enterprise
  • #Frontend
  • #Backend

Key points

  • 01Modular three-layer architecture with metadata-generated grids
  • 02Multi-tenancy with per-company isolation and schema-based organisation
  • 03Custom SVG sprite icon system with a conversion pipeline

Context

In the fashion supply chain every order lives on size × colour matrices: a single item can generate dozens of combinations, each with its own quantities, prices and availability. In this scenario data correctness is critical and the interface has to stay fast even with large volumes.

Approach

The architecture is modular and three-layered, with clear boundaries between presentation, application logic and data access. Grids and forms are generated from metadata: instead of hand-writing every screen, the UI is built from the description of the entities, drastically reducing repetitive code and keeping the application’s behaviour consistent.

Technical choices

  • Multi-tenancy with per-company data isolation and schema-based organisation in the database.
  • Blazor Server and DevExpress for data-dense business interfaces, built from reusable components.
  • EF Core on SQL Server as the persistence layer, with a data model designed around product matrices.
  • A custom SVG sprite icon pipeline to keep the UI visually consistent and lightweight.
